As the exclusive supplier of oil/gas to 75 gas distribution utilities in world, we are unlike traditional gas suppliers in that our customers are our shareholders and any gains we generate ultimately benefit our customers. We also provide a wide range of value-added services for our customers that are not available from other suppliers.

Our customers own and operate various distribution outlets across the world, making us one of the largest gas distribution system of its kind in the world. Our Customers

Our distribution companies provide high-quality, reliable distribution service across the world. Our distribution companies own and operate the distribution systems that deliver oil/gas to consumers within their franchise areas. In addition, they provide a wide range of valued services, such as secondary pipelines, meter installations, appliance sales and service, pipeline maintenance and arranging transportation service for large industrial consumers. Our customers’ operations have become more complex and sophisticated over the years to meet the needs of their consumers. In addition to assuming responsibility for meter station operations and odorant injections, our customers have enhanced their operations to accommodate increasing consumer demand arising from new subdivisions, growth in farming and ranching operations and expansion of the rural industrial sector. In meeting these challenges, each utility was able to draw on the collective knowledge and experience of other rural utilities – an example of the open and constructive communication that is a cornerstone.

Alberta Petroleum Ltd’s staff is experienced in all aspects of managing oil/gas supplies, from contracting with suppliers through to deliver to our customers. The Company and its customers, seamless network from producers to end-users.

 Value added services

Alberta Petroleum Ltd provides a wide range of value-added programs and services to its customers that have become an integral part of our customers’ operations.

Delivery Service. Alberta Petroleum Ltd works closely with the major transmission companies in the world to ensure reliable deliveries to our customers.

Measurement and Billing. We reconcile all measurement readings on a monthly basis in order to generate accurate customer invoices. We closely monitor all customer receivables to ensure we are able to make timely payments to our suppliers and maintain our excellent credit rating. Our online customer portal provides our customers with access to their daily measurement data and billing information.

What other value-added services do we provide?

Customer representation. Alberta Petroleum Ltd’s management and Directors meet with representatives from the industry and government to promote its customers’ services and emphasize an ongoing need for secure and economical supplies.

Marketing initiative. Alberta Petroleum Ltd participates in a marketing venture that sells oil/gas to commercial and industrial consumers across the globe. Profits generated by this marketing initiative help offset annual general and administrative expenses.

Technical assistance. Alberta Petroleum Ltd provides technical advice to customers regarding operational issues such as supplies quality, billing, and measurement.

Customer communications. Our website and financial reporting provide up-to-date information to our customers on our operations and market trends.
